Stacey was introduced to Doug and PNMT through her alma mater, Blue Sky Educational Foundation in Grafton WI almost 20 years ago. Her journey into neuromuscular therapy was fueled by past injuries as a professional modern dancer. Becoming certified in PNMT and following Doug’s work, she has been able to understand and relieve her own and others chronic muscular pain.
Stacey received her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Biology with an emphasis in Exercise Science from the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay, graduating cum laude. Most recently, Stacey spent 2 years acquiring 500 hours of Yoga Teacher Training at Bay Area Yoga Center and training in Biomechanical Restructuring (BMR) with Valerie Revering. She has found that the additional education has opened horizons in how weakness and lack of flexibility can contribute to her client’s pain. These employed with PNMT has been a winning combination in creating effective outcomes.
Over the years of practicing neuromuscular therapy and being a part of the PNMT community, teaching and developing quality curriculum for massage therapy and yoga training programs has become a strong passion for Stacey. The high quality education hosted at Precision Massage in Arizona is an important part of ensuring that the future of the profession continues to raise the bar.
